Anahera is very special to Rudi and Lissy. In 2017 after Lissy left her job to pursue what she knew her calling – creativity. Lissy spent about one year playing with different mediums, fabrics, paints, she wasn’t sure what she was meant to be doing at all. But Lissy trusted that she was on the right path and that all was well. 
 
Cooking is a major part of Lissy and Rudi's lives, they love to nurture and feed people and one day Lissy's favourite wooden spoon broke.  She was devastated! The next thing she knew Rudi had gone outside and came back in, hours later saying "Ta-Dah! I’ve made you a new wooden spoon!" It was a beautifully carved spoon made from Maire wood and he had carved two little angels wings into it.

As Lissy and Rudi have known since they met that they are being led, guided, and protected by their Tūpuna who are their angels. These wings are special because they symbolise the immense aroha and protection felt by our beloveds who have moved beyond the veil.
