A moment in time that reflects some of the artwork found in Wharenui Harikoa. 
These wings are positioned alongside the Pohutukawa pou to symbolize our departed loved ones. Inside the whare, you'll notice that there is a division from male to female sides.
The Anahera wings also embody the whatukura (male) and māreikura (female) energies present within the whare. Their design narrates the story of patupaiarehe and tūrehu, illustrating how they collaborate harmoniously to confront malevolent forces. This concept was shared with Lissy and Rudi by the tohunga Mātahi Whakataka Brightwell.
